Privacy Policy
What we collect, and what we don't.
This policy explains what information Press Start Co collects and how it's used. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
- Analytics.We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and how visitors move through the site. This collects standard, mostly-anonymized usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and referring site. We use it in aggregate; we don't use it to identify you personally.
- Contact form.If you message us, we receive the name, email, and message you submit. We use them only to reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list.
- Affiliate link clicks.When you click a buy button, we record an anonymous event (which link, which page) in analytics so we can see which recommendations are useful. The purchase itself happens on the retailer's site under their privacy policy.
Cookies and tracking
Google Analytics sets cookies to measure usage. Affiliate links may set a cookie on the retailer's domain (for example, Amazon) so a qualifying purchase is attributed to us - that cookie is governed by the retailer's own privacy policy, not ours. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site works fine without them.
Third parties
We share data with the service providers that run the site's core functions - Google (analytics), our hosting provider, and our email provider for handling contact-form messages. We don't sell your personal information. When you follow an affiliate link, you're subject to that retailer's privacy practices.
Your choices
You can opt out of Google Analytics using the official browser add-on, block cookies in your browser, or simply avoid submitting the contact form. If you've emailed us and want your message deleted, ask and we'll remove it.
